14.1. Documento XHTML (Introducción a XHTML)

La estructura básica de cualquier página o documento XHTML válido incluye al menos las siguientes etiquetas:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
  "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="es" xml:lang="es">
<head>
  <title>...</title>
  ...
</head>
<body>
  ...
</body>
</html>

El DOCTYPE también puede ser:
