okay well welcome everybody I'm really really excited to be here today thank you for attending I'm exciting for many reasons this first one is it's the first time in history that the Three Musketeers are giving a presentation all together so I'm

really happy with it second thing is we will show you really amazing things today so fasten your bills because it would be fantastic and the first thing is well it's my first time in Madrid and so I'm really really happy to be here so let's start

just with a quick presentation of the three musketeers occurring can you move to the next slide okay so we have Queen febreze and meet Sebastian I've converted these two dudes 2 grills last year and they really really like it and now they're giving

a lot of presentations are producing a lot of plugins and I can stop them anymore they're going faster than me so and well they even helped me to to create the groovy and user group and the south of forensic the gritty era quick words about Karina fabrice

there to geek people kupil as are freelancers a very smart a lot of experience in IT well I'm Sebastian I've recently switched from work as you can see i'm working for where that now and i will put it up and stopped rolling though but i'm really

happy to to give this presentation today let's come to the next slide okay this is the boring part where we have the corporate kota of slides where i present you what is a mobile web app but then we will move to live coding and that's most exciting

part so what exactly it's a mobile web app well like a regular desktop web app it's an application running in a browser without not running on your device but we see here free examples of famous sites Twitter Facebook and Google News you we can see

that it's just playing pretty well with the layout of your screen I don't know if you ever tried the mobile web version of Twitter it's really impressive it works really really nice and well you for sure you have to give it a try but we have just

put it here okay and we got three major differences between on regular desktop mobile web app and then story about a desktop web app and a mobile web app the first is pretty obvious is the size of the screen look this is a site debug friends which is not treated

to be on a mobile device and what you see here it's an horrible thing and what you have to do is if you want to click links you have to zoom a zoom in zoom in zoom in and then you click and you click search the wrong link and it's horrible and then

you have to zoom out it's well it's it's well it's crap next slide the other thing is you have to survive a flying when you're building mobile web apps because having a connection is not something obvious like regular desktop web app so

you have to deal with situation when you are in a plane or boat somewhere and in a supermarket that you don't have a connection and you still want to use your application we will show you that solution is exists and the third the first difference is in

the beginning of web web 10 we are only using our eyes to see websites then next slide we start to use a little bit our brains with web 20 with more interactions and things like that but with mobile we got a third factor of interaction which is really interesting

which is next slide your location now your application can behave can interact depending on the place where you are one of the most famous example is foursquare for example and doing that in a mobile web app is really really easy as we will show you that in

a few moments next slide I don't okay yes the thing is how you go from from a regular website to a mobile site how you transform this one well you can do it yourself if you really like CSS if you are a CSS or JavaScript fan but you can also be a bit smarter

and look on the web if they're already existing libraries and if you look a bit you will see that there exists a lot of them I just mentioned here some of them I webkit just it's not maintained anymore but wow it's a long story between iWeb kids

and me it's this way i discovered grills a bit and i make my first will plug in with iweb kid that i present at the girls exchange three years ago though just want to mention it but don't use it it's not mundane anymore you get you I never can
